How to use Easy Blindscan with TBS 6925

Easy Blindscan is a software for make it easy the satellite blind searching. It is a popular tool that is favored by many users.

Surely, to proceed with the operation, you have to install the hardware and software driver of TBS 6925, and Easy Blindscan. After inserting one piece of TBS 6925 into one PCIe slot in your computer, you can install the driver from the attached CD of the product. To install Easy Blindscan, all you have to do is to follow the steps. It’s so easy that I think that I should not take too much time on this part.

After installation is done, run Easy Blindscan and you will see the main window of the software. Then, it’s time to set all the parameters.

1-General. You will have to choose the right device and the right satellite that the dish are connecting to etc., and set the routes for Reports and Save transponders.


2-LNB & DiSEqC. You have to set the LNB according to your actual circumstance. If you are using a DiSEqC, you will also have to make relevant settings.


3-Scan range. Set a scan range here by setting frequency range, Symbol rate range, polarization, Steps. Then, click the Add button, and the range will appear in the column. After filling in a Sat Profiles name and clicking the Save button, you can start Blindscan now.


Note: The frequency range should be based on the symbol rate of the card and LNB parameter.

While scanning, you will be able to see one window that displays the process of scanning.


After scanning is done, you will get to the General Report page where shows the scanning result.


And the scanned frequencies will be displayed in Satellite Report.


Also, there will be a TXT and INI file in a place where the routes set are leading to. The TXT file contain all the detailed information of the scanned frequencies, including symbol rate, standard/modulation etc. And the INI file can be used in the software application that you have choose in INI format, such as DVBDream or AltDVB etc.
