Step 1：Install TBS 6280 DTV T2 Tuner Card on PC
To install a TBS 6280 PCIE card you MUST first ensure that your computer is unplugged from the mains. It is not enough to switch it off using the button on the front; you must ensure that it is disconnected from the mains.
Locate a free PCIE slot – you will need a screwdriver to remove any blanking plate.You must ensure that after seating the PC tv card firmly in the slot that the digital TV card is securely fastened into the slot. The thick television aerial cables are sturdy and can easily rip out a card that is not firmly fixed.
Once you have replaced the case of the computer, you can then attach the aerial connection to the appropriate connection. You then plug the box into your roof-mounted aerial connection, and attach the USB cable to one of the USB ports on your computer. Then you can start the “Digital TV” software. The first time you use it, you will need to scan for the freeview channels.
Once this has completed, you will be able to select from the Freeview channels that are available in your area.
Step2：Run TBS 6280 On Window media center
After installing the TBS 6280 on computer, Open up Windows Media Center, Go to Tasks -> settings -> TV -> TV Signal -> Set Up TV Signal. Then click TV -> live TV to watch the scanned Freeview TV programs.
A “TV Tuner Selection” window appears, You can see TBS 6280 DVB T2 Tuner , so please choose tuners A or tuner B. Or, you can just leave it and choose both tuners at the same time. And then follow the instructions, until you can start to scan channels.
It takes a while to scan channels, and the freeview channels that have been found will be listed below. After the channels have been found, you can watch the freeview programs on PC now, such as BBC News, BBC one HD, BBC Three. Go back to the main menu of Media Center, and then click “Live TV” under the “TV” column. Relevant TV programs will begin to broadcast, and you can switch to your favorite programs as you wish.
There is now full support for the Freeview digital radio channels, but there are no red button text facilities. However, there is a full BBC News player in Media Center’s Online Services menu. Now you can watch Live Freeview BBC News On computer
